I love new age music. One of my favourite groups is Enigma, although I think Michael Cretu's best albums are the first two ones, by far. The videoclip I link to is Return to Innocence, from the second album The Cross of Changes. According to Wikipedia:

«The music video for the song was filmed in Málaga, Spain, where Cretu also lives. The video shows the life of a person going in reverse, starting with him dying (the scene was probably influenced by the 1930 Olexandr Dovzhenko film Earth) and ending with his birth, where he returns back to innocence».

Actually, Cretu lives in Ibiza. Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born in Málaga. Enjoy it.

PD: Wow, Wikipedia really has a lot of information. Trivia for Enigma's first album: «MCMXC a.D. was one of the first albums to be recorded on a hard disk after Cretu's upgrade to the A.R.T. Studio». I've listened 1990 literally thousands of times and never thought this connection: «The second three-part movement in the album, "Back to the Rivers of Belief", begins slowly with John Williams' five-toned notes from Stephen Spielberg's movie, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, which leads to mellow Gregorian chants in the first part of the movement, "Way to Eternity"».

I was visiting a site devoted to 60's-80's top hits and saw this song. Do you remember Rick Astley? It was a popular pop singer in the late 80's. One of his hits, Whenever you need somebody, was actually shooted in Las Canteras beach, in Canary Islands (where I live). Thanks to YouTube I could watch the video once again. I have this disc in vinyle, I should convert all of them to Ogg.
